Unique and fun way to Discover San Antonio’s History

My wife and I did the Barwalk only hours after arriving in San Antonio. It was the best thing we did on our trip! Emzy, our guide, was excellent. He knows everything you can think to ask about San Antonio, and then some. The historical stories he tells are enthralling. The hotels and places we went were unique, interesting, and beautiful. Emzy’s personal interest in and dedication to the city’s history has encouraged him to find extremely rare photographs and documents from archives across the country. You won’t get that anywhere else! On top of that, we met some very cool people and had some fantastic cocktails. We highly recommend The Barwalk with Emzy.

Best Tour I Have Ever Done

Sure it’s a great concept but it takes a real master storyteller like Emzy to make it the magical experience it is. There is nothing he doesn’t know about San Antonio and every question I had (and I had a lot) was answered with ease and often a picture and a colourful tale or two. I never expected to like San Antonio so much and it’s all thanks to Emzy.

Fabulous Tour!!

My husband and and I had an AMAZING time on this tour! We were really just expecting to walk to a few bars and have drinks. This tour is SO MUCH MORE than you can even imagine! Emzy provided us an entertaining evening full of interesting history, complete with archived photos. His knowledge of the city is outstanding and we learned so many fascinating things! I cannot recommend this tour enough! If you can only choose one tour…this is the CLEAR choice!!

Like Nothing Else!

Emzy is an amazing story teller! We didn’t know what to expect but it turned out to be our favorite night of our trip. Emzy was full of history and would show documents and pictures to tie it all together from his iPad. The bars, bartenders, and drinks were outstanding too…..don’t hesitate to take this excursion, you will not be disappointed!
